New 2023 tariffs for filing financial statements

New 2023 tariffs for filing financial statements

February 2023 – You will pay slightly more for filing your annual accounts this year. This is due to annual indexation.

Filing the annual accounts is an important annual agenda item for every company. As a manager, you must file the annual accounts within seven months of the end of the financial year and within 30 days of their approval by the general meeting.

A specific fee is charged for this disclosure. This fee consists of the publication costs for the collection and publication of the documents by the National Bank of Belgium (NBB) and a contribution to the operating costs of the Belgian Accounting Standards Commission (CBN).

Filing fees

Due to an annual indexation, you will pay slightly more for this task since 1 January 2023. In the Belgian Official Gazette of 8 December 2022, the NBB announced the following new amounts:

  • filing via the internet in the form of a structured data file (XBRL):

  • full model annual accounts: €356 (amount 2022: €317.10)

  • abridged model annual accounts: 81.40 euros (amount 2022: 72.50 euros)

  • micro model annual accounts: 60.20 euros (amount 2022: 53.60 euros)

  • filing via the internet of a PDF file:

  • full model annual accounts: €422.50 (amount 2022: €376.40)

  • abridged model annual accounts: 147.80 euros (amount 2022: 131.60 euros)

  • micro model annual accounts: 126.70 euros (amount 2022: 112.90 euros)

For filed documents, separately from the annual accounts or consolidated annual accounts, and for enhanced annual accounts, you will pay €81.40 from now on. In the case of the micro model, it will be €51.80. In 2022, these amounts were 72.50 euros and 46.10 euros, respectively.
