European grant call for more efficient HR operation in SMEs
October 2024 - In a fast-growing SME, it is crucial that the organisational structure and culture keep pace with this growth. With the new grant call ‘Organising differently’, Europe WSE - formerly known as ESF Flanders - supports SMEs in this growth process.
Which talent do you deploy for new tasks? How do you create a broad support base from hr to implement organisational changes? How do you quickly attract new employees and keep existing colleagues on board?
With the new subsidy call ‘Organising differently’, Europe WSE - formerly known as ESF Flanders - supports SMEs in this growth process. Through this call, companies can get the support they need to tackle growing pains in their internal operations. This can include:
· internal organisation
· division of tasks between departments
· coaching of managers
· communication from the management
How much is this European subsidy?
As an entrepreneur, would you like to hire the necessary external expertise to thoroughly review (one of) these work areas and deploy the necessary staff? If so, a grant of EUR 80,000 per project is available for this purpose. This grant will cover up to 70% of your own staff costs and any expenses for external service providers.
You must submit your grant application by 31 October 2024, with a planned start date for projects on 1 February 2025.
For whom is this grant intended?
This new call is intended for SMEs in the profit and social profit sector (including non-profit organisations, residential care centres, etc.) located in the Flemish Region. A company must at least meet the criteria of a small enterprise (this is a balance sheet total between 2 and 10 million euro and between 11 and 50 employees on the payroll).
This call is not open to micro-enterprises.
How does the application proceed?
The call proceeds in 2 phases:
Exploration phase (5 months): analysis of the current organisational structure and culture, identification of areas for improvement and setting measurable targets. An action plan is prepared for the next phase.
Implementation phase (19 months): implementation of the action plan with structural and cultural interventions, such as workshops on task distribution within and between teams, coaching of managers and improvement of psychological safety,...
